ABOUT TAXCO
Taxco is a small city in the mountains about half way between Mexico City and Acapulco. It has been a silver mining town since the 16th century and is now renowed for it's silver jewelry. Perched on the side of a mountain, level ground is hard to find in this colonial town. Almost all streets head up or down and the altitude of about 5500 ft makes navigating its narrow winding streets often a breathtaking venture. This is where we live.
