About Us

We are a jewelry company called Krika and a little more...

Meeting in Mexico where we were both living and doing business, we joined forces under the company name, Krika in 1988 and five years later we were married. As life and business partners, we designed and produced fine silver jewelry, silver ornaments and flatware. We wrote books and travel stories and even mastered the art of website design which is now the main focus of our work.

For many years, we lived and worked in Taxco, Mexico. Then in 2001 we moved to the Caribbean island of Montserrat. Now we split our time between the United States and Guatemala. Whenever time permits we visit new places, making our love of travel both an adventure and a source of inspiration in our work.

Many years ago, Trinidad and Tobago became a favorite holiday destination and our books called Adventure Guide to Trinidad and Tobago were born of our fascination with the country and its people. Peru and Bolivia have also become dear to our hearts and a story about one of our visits can be found on our company site, http://www.krika.com along with a short and funny story about our quick trip to the out islands of the Bahamas.

Balancing our lives with traveling, writing and website design has enabled us to produce three A to Z destination guides -- Taxco-Today.com, Montserrat-Today.com and Oaxaca-Today.com. We have also written an ebook called Travel Free & Shop Till You Drop available at Amazon  and Barnes & Noble.
